Description

When Mike Colby, a lonely mercenary, is hired by his ex-wife Gemini to meet with an old alien enemy for an unlikely alliance, he thought the hardest thing ahead of him was preventing an invasion. Unfortunately, things get a whole lot worse when Gemini betrays both Mike and one of her own captains, the feisty Tisch Mallory, who rescues him against her orders, to the aliens. Meanwhile, Tisch uses Mike's past relationship with Gemini against him, despite his loyalty to her. Stuck in the middle of a feud between the two women, the aliens are the least of Mike's concerns. Caught in a war between rival shipping corporations, life on a small, outdated freighter, the Blue Eagle, is anything but boring.
